Bats & Dogs: Saturday Softball Tournament

  • Grace Community Church Ball Diamond 1600 South Anderson Avenue Newton, KS, 67114 United States (map)

Bats and Dogs is a micro softball tournament. This is an opportunity for Grace to have some good old fashioned fun. Put together a softball team of 9 to 11 players from having just finished the 6th grade up through adults. Then, show up that morning at 8 AM and sign your team in and get added to the bracket. We will play short 4 inning (or 45 minutes whichever comes first) games, single elimination. So come and see who wins!

Stick around the whole day and cheer on your family and friends. If there is time we may have a homerun derby. Subs can be picked up from other teams if needed. We will have hotdogs, chips, and water (What ball game would be complete without dogs?!?) Bring your team, bats, gloves, and any drinks or snacks you might want. Balls and a couple of bats will be provided. If you are not on a team, come and enjoy watching the games and the fellowship anyway!

If you would like to umpire a game or two (even if you are on a team), keep stats/score and brackets, or would like to cook and hand out dogs please let Sean know.

*Only the team captain, umpires, or cooks need to register.*

Deadline to register is Wednesday, July 6th.
