Vision and Celebration Gathering

We are having our Vision and Celebration Gathering after second service on March 22! Bring a potluck dish to eat in the Activity Center, then join us in the Worship Center to hear our Elders share about our new Executive Pastor hire and the future of our church!

Men's Breakfast is on February 21st. It is good food and great people! The monthly men’s prayer and fellowship breakfast is a good way to connect with other men at Grace while being encouraged and challenged in your faith. Join us on the third Saturday of every month! 

Make sure to register so we can have a headcount of how many are coming. See you then, and don’t forget to bring your appetite!

Parents, we don’t have to tell you—you probably could use a night off! Grace Students would love to help make that happen. Our students heading to camp are offering a Parents’ Night Out so you can enjoy an evening to yourselves while your kids are cared for.

If you have children from birth through 6th grade, drop them off on March 13th from 5:30 – 9 pm for a night full of games and activities, with a movie to end the evening (blankets are welcome for extra comfort.) Please have children eat beforehand or send a sack dinner for them to enjoy when they arrive.

Worry not, your kids will be supervised by trusted adult volunteers (not just teenagers).  A free-will donation will be available to support our students as they prepare for camp.

This event will inform the Grandparents of Grace Community about the possibility of a new ministry to equip and encourage Christian Grandparents to be intentional in sharing their faith stories with their grandchildren in an ongoing way as part of their ongoing relationship with each grandchild.

The luncheon will include some personal testimonies, a vision presentation about being an Intentional Christian Grandparent, Q/A, an interest survey, and an opportunity to sign up for a six-session class “Grandparenting Matters."

Ladies of all ages are invited to Crafternoon, a cozy, mid-winter afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, and fellowship! Bring a craft or game you love, plus a snack to share, and come enjoy unhurried time together. No registration needed, just come and enjoy the afternoon with us!

Come to the Fiesta in the Activity Center for food and fellowship. Our traditional Amigo meal consists of DELUXE tostadas. All proceeds of this fundraiser go directly to the Children's Haven International home as a love offering to the ministry. Please consider being in attendance or grabbing a take-out meal. We hope to see you there!

We will serve the meal after both services at 10:15 and 12:00. Feel free to grab a "take out" meal for anyone who cannot stay after the services.

We hold child dedications as a way for parents to express their commitment to raising their child according to Scripture and for the church to proclaim our support and partnership. We will have child dedications during both Sunday morning services on January 18th, 2026. Registration deadline is January 12th. Learn more here.

Every 2nd Tuesday & 4th Thursday | 7:30-8:30 pm | GCC Garage

The GCC Life Safety team is offering a men's Bible study in 2026. The group will be going through the Bible with daily reading requirements throughout the week. During the Bible study, men will be asked to summarize the reading and participate in prayers and thanksgiving. It should be a great time to meet other men in our church, while jumping into some accountability. All men who attend Grace are welcome to attend.

Celebrate Christmas Eve with Us at Grace Church!

This Christmas, come experience the joy and hope of the season with our Grace Church family. We invite you to join us for our Christmas Eve services at 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Come and celebrate the birth of our Savior with Christmas Carols and a Devotional from Pastor Jack!

Bring your family and friends to experience the joy of Christmas at Grace Church. We can't wait to celebrate this special season with you!

This is our 12th annual Christmas Caroling event! Join us in the fun and serving! We'll share the truth of Christ's birth through song and scripture with people in Newton and surrounding communities. We'll finish the night with a soup supper back at the church facility. Join us on December 14th at 4 pm in the Activity Center.

This Christmas season, our Grace Care Team is inviting you to BE THE CHURCH by caring for those in our congregation who are elderly or homebound. Many of these individuals are unable to fully participate in the joy of the season, so we want to bring the joy to them!

By “adopting” a senior, you’ll receive the name of a person connected to Grace, along with a special Christmas gift we’ve prepared. You’ll personally deliver it to their home, share a moment of fellowship, and offer prayer. Our hope is that this connection would continue beyond Christmas—reminding them that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.

If you’d like to volunteer, simply stop by the sign-up table in the foyer after service on December 7th and 14th.

Disappointment, Stress, Sadness, & Joy—4 emotions we all may encounter at Christmas. Ladies, come hear Jessica Alexander, Heather Friesen, Jess McClenahan, & Phyllis Hasty share how we can address these emotions with God and experience true joy this Christmas.

We will enjoy singing, fellowship, and a delicious meal with dessert and hot beverages. A $5 donation is suggested. Childcare is available with registration.

Grace Kids would like to invite you to "The Birthday of a King"!

The children are putting on their annual Christmas program on December 7, during both the 9 am and the 10:45 am services. Come help them celebrate the birthday of our Savior!

We are glad to partner with other local churches for the 30th Annual Community Thanksgiving meal! A free Thanksgiving meal will be served on Thanksgiving Day. Our desire is that people who don't have a place to go on Thanksgiving Day can come, get a good meal, and receive encouragement. Taking part in this event is a tangible way for us to love the people around us. We are excited about this opportunity to meet physical needs while also ministering to people in our community.

Many international students never have the chance to be welcomed into an American home, let alone experience an American holiday with a Christian family.

You have the opportunity to help international students experience American culture with your family. At the same time, your family will be enriched as students share a bit of their culture with you.

Many families enjoy their time with their international friends so much that they’re eager to invite them back for future events. It’s a meaningful and rewarding experience for everyone.

If you want to learn more about Grace, we would love to give you an introduction to who we are and what we are all about. Join us following the 10:45am service for a great opportunity to meet some of our staff and elders and find out how you can get connected.

And, because we are serious about wanting you to come, we will feed you pizza and watch your kids for free!

This special shootout edition of the monthly Men’s Breakfast will be a fun and encouraging time to connect with other men at Grace. In addition to the ever-present delicious food, conversation, and prayer time, those interested will have the opportunity to shoot shotguns.

Bring your own shotgun, or use one of the shotguns that will be available. Eye and ear protection is optional and heavily suggested. Shooters under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Donations will be accepted for targets and shells.

This event will be taking place at Stan Jost’s house (3821 SW 48th St. Newton, KS) at 8:00 am on November 15th

Love Through Listening
Applying Active Listening to Friendships, Life, and Marriage.

Love Through Listening will provide you with tools to live out the often quoted but not always understood James 1:19, which says, "My dear brothers and sisters, understand this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger...” We want to be less reactive and never struggle with anger, but we often miss the fact that it all starts with knowing how to listen well! This conference will give you practical and tested tools to be the kind of listener Jesus would want His followers to be!

Chris Willis, a member of our church, has been trained in Active Listening by the FBI and the London Metro Police. He is going to come and share with our church a one-day event exploring Active Listening.

We will be meeting in the Worship Center at 8:30 am.

The cost is $5 per person, and that will cover the conference, coffee, and lunch!

Come hungry, leave happy! After either service on October 19th, grab a nacho lunch (to-go or dine in). Chip in and help us raise funds for camp while enjoying chips, cheese, and all the toppings. Holy guacamole, it’s going to be good!
