Jack Napier
Lead Pastor
Jack grew up on military bases around the world, and after a rough adolescence, he experienced the radical salvation of Jesus as a teenager. Realizing he had the faith of a demon (James 2:19), he turned in repentance toward God and faith in Jesus. Within a year he sensed God’s call on his life for ministry and never looked back. He met his wife Courtney at a small Bible college in Mississippi, and together they have lived in 4 states and have 5 children, including twin boys! They moved to Kansas in 2017, when Jack began serving as the Lead Pastor. Jack loves preaching the Bible—using visual illustrations to convey a better understanding of the living, active Word of God. He is passionate about leading our congregation in prayer—humbly kneeling before God and asking Him to equip us to love God, love people, and lead others to do the same. He values creating a caring, collaborative family-environment among the staff team, and truly believes we are better when serving together as the body of Christ and spurring one another on to love and good deeds. It is his joy to shepherd the flock of Grace Community Church, a privilege he does not hold lightly. Fun Fact: Jack has adventurous taste buds and once ate a chicken head while on a mission trip to China!
Kyle Schanbacher
Pastor of Worship
Kyle started working at Grace in July of 2014. He got married to his best friend, Mary, in July of 2003. They have 3 wonderful children; Kaitlyn, Noah, and Adelyn. In 2021 he played the good dad card and finally gave in to his family's request for a dog and they welcomed a goldendoodle named Brynn into the family. Kyle was fairly young when he turned to Jesus in faith for his salvation, but can't put an exact date on it. In his freshman year of college he wrestled with an addiction and experienced how big his sin was; but how much bigger our Savior is! Kyle says “Jesus is my salvation, my hope, my joy, my strength, my purpose, my everything. As my favorite verse, Philippians 3:8 says, everything else is rubbish compared to knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.” Kyle oversees our worship ministry, our hospitality ministry, and considers it a great honor to shepherd the people of our church through encouragement, spiritual counsel, discipleship, and care. One of Kyle’s greatest joys in ministry has been equipping and raising up the next generation of worship leaders. Some of his favorite things are concerts, board games, watching movies with his family, and ice cream.
